2006 reissue of a 1999 recording.
"Vidna Obmana and Italian soundsculptor Alio Die unite their vision and realized this introspective work of sixty minutes. At times droning and abstract, sometimes ritualistic and ethnic. "Echo Passage clearly lives up to the reputations of Obmana and Musso while offering both ample opportunity to work outside of their ordinary parameters"
- Adam M. Bialek / Outburn (USA)
With the experience of two single collaborative pieces
on VIDNA OBMANA's The Spiritual Bonding and ALIO
DIE's Suspended Feathers, Vidna Obmana and Alio
Die have been exchanging thoughts on the idea of a full
length collaborative album since then. Due to both artists' busy
workschedules, the album was unfortunately postponed for
several years. The long -awaited album, titled Echo
Passage, was finally completed in early 1999. Both sharing
a passion for long, minimal and harmonic structures, they unite
their vision and realized this introspective work of sixty minutes.
At times droning and abstract, sometimes ritualistic and ethnic,
Echo Passage is the album which blends together both
musicians' artistry in its most profund and spiritual form.
